Collection of personal data & uses

W4RES will use the personal data collected from you for the following purposes:

  • Newsletter: To send you the RHC ETIP newsletter in case you registered via the form. You may unsubscribe at any time via the ‘unsubscribe’ link included in every e-mailing campaign. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us at welcome(at)w4res.eu
  • Cookies: we use cookies for internal research and statistical analysis related to monitoring or improving the materials and the website.

When you register for the W4RES newsletter and confirm the use of cookies you are consenting to W4RES to use your personal data for the aforementioned purposes and are granting W4RES permission to carry out those actions and/activities.

W4RES is committed to respect your personal data

W4RES is committed to ensuring that all personal information collected and processed is appropriate for the stated purpose(s) and shall not constitute an invasion of your privacy. We will not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may only share your personal data with third party service providers who are contracted by us and we shall ensure that they will hold your personal data securely and shall use it only in order to fulfill the service for which they are contracted (such as W4RES website maintenance etc). When there is no longer a service need, or the contract comes to an end, the third party will dispose of all personal data according to our procedures. We will never share your personal data with third parties until we have received your consent, unless we are required do so by law.

W4RES will use its discretion, ensuring that personal data is not kept outside of our usual business requirements.

We shall never be intrusive or invasive of your personal privacy and shall not ask you to provide data that is irrelevant or unnecessary and we will enact strict measures and processes to ensure that the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure of your personal data is minimized as much as possible.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
