Meet Ihsane Haouach
Ihsane Haouach is a social entrepreneur, author, trainer, and speaker, dedicated to promoting equal and sustainable transitions. Alongside international projects targeting an efficient and effective organisation, she founded several non-profit initiatives aimed at promoting equity. As a consultant and trainer, she intervenes to improve organisations’ societal impact. Her experience and skills from both the corporate and social sectors enable her to advise and train people with creative methods.
Ihsane Haouach has always been involved in societal causes. With the organisations she founded, more than 3,000 youngsters and women were trained through self-confidence and citizenship involvement. Understanding the value of art for societal dialogues, she wrote and performed theater with humor and emotions, charming thousands of spectators. She co-initiated the creation of a 1000-square-foot cultural & educational center in Molenbeek called "L'Epicerie", representing the true melting pot of Brussels, the non-institutional place built entirely based on field experience.
After a decade of a successful professional career in the energy sector, she quit a comfortable position to build bridges between the social and private sectors. Through her conviction that the future of our society lies in our ability to integrate energy transition into social challenges, she made it a point to always have a foot in both of those worlds. She was appointed to the board of Brugel, the Brussels regulatory agency that regulates electricity, gas, and water markets. Ihsane Haouach has many awards and recognitions, one of which is “Belgium's 40 under 40”, a group of leaders under 40 identified for leading and shaping tomorrow's society.
Ihsane Haouach published her first book "Open Up Your Organization" in 2022. She outlines an innovative and inclusive leadership model based on real-life examples.
