In line with the aim of promoting gender equality and ensuring a comprehensive and better representation of women in our European societies, the European Commission has recently published the CORDIS Results Pack on Gender Equality.

As extraordinary challenges characterize 2022, the European Commission is still outreaching the increase of gender balance throughout the Horizon Europe Programme, with a target of 50 % women in related boards, expert groups and evaluation committees.

The Results Pack, highlighting six ERC-funded research projects, reports a wide range of developments in the fields of gendered understanding of law, individual and structural drivers of gender disparity, gender biases in education, employment and healthcare, and tools to support the development and deployment of Gender Equality Plans, as well as national-level policy coordination on gender equality in the European Research Area.

To enhance a more rightful, inclusive, sustainable world, far-off cliché and discrimination, and shaped on a solid gender dimension, this research pack is a step forward in realizing a more accountable living place designed for women's rights achievement and well-being.
